It makes me smile.

Pixel gets grumpy on Friday nights as we are still up when she want to sleep. It’s not the right routine.

Today’s positive moment, I had to run my boss through a bunch of work I’ve been doing.

He’s the sort of boss who is happy to give me a target and then leave me to my own devices as to how I get there… So it’s always a slightly nervous moment when I have to show him where I am at.

This time, I was spot on and he seemed pretty happy with the progress.

Today I’m grateful that:
– my boss is happy to give me enough rope to either hang myself or climb a mountain. I love working like that.

– Coffee. When I need a break from what I’m doing a nice warm coffee and a 2 min walk make all the difference to my day.

– Ted.com and other wonderful Internet ‘learning’ sites. Learning on demand is great fun.
