One thing fascinating I’ve found about my ‘write about positive things’ experiment is that it all comes down to perspective.

Tonight, I’m excited to tell you about the new fish we have (the last ones new ones passed away after a heater problem). While if I was in the wrong frame of mind, I could easily dwell on the negative in that… but instead let me introduce you to Turvey.

We found Topsy and Turvey in the fish store, I’ve never seen them before.

They are ‘upsidedown catfish’. And they do what it say on the time. It’s hilarious to have fish doing loops in the take swiming upside down for 1/2 of the time.

Such a fun pair of fish.

In other news, tonight was our final NCT (baby prep) course. I had a bit of a mishap which somehow involved the tutors favourite toy baby (Stewart) loosing an arm.

I got away without them calling child welfare, but needless to say I was the laughing stock…

I seem to attract situations like these 🙂

Today I’m grateful for:

– the NCT courses have been really good. While I may fool about a bit it’s answered so many questions. I’m feeling as prepared as I’ll ever be now.

– I can do my job from anywhere. Today I did it from my couch, head down for the day and pumped out a massive amount of work. It’s so satisfying to do that.

– Sunglasses. Have I ever mentioned that I hate bright lights and loud noises… sunglasses are the best invention ever (especially for driving in spring mornnings with the sun sitting low).
