Had a big day out for bump today following a few days of him growing,

S1 has been looking for a suitable baby changing bag. All of the recommended ones don’t fit the needs for us.

So, on a whim, S1 started looking at crumplers. After all all of our other crumpler kit has served us so well it was worth a look.

A cycle messenger bag looked perfect, but we did have some doubts given it was an untested idea. So we decided to drive a couple of hours to the closest crumpler store.

On a funny twist, Sarah mentioned to her workmates that she was planning to drive 1 hours to look at a bag. They got all excited with brands like Mulberry and Yummy Mummy being thrown around… I’m not sure they realise just how practical S1 is on these sorts of things!

Sure enough, the bag was perfect!

And then, it was out for dinner with some friends. A good night, although having been cooped up in a car for 2 hours meant I had some hyperactive energy to burn!!!

Today I’m grateful for:

– living in a part of the uk where all sorts of amazing things are on our doorstep.

– having the sort of wife who wears tramping shoes on the weekends and believes practicality is more useful than worrying about what others may think.

– the friends we have in the UK. 5 years after moving here we now have a good number of friends. I can’t pin point when that happened but it’s lovely.
