Our 80+year old neighbour is getting closer to having her home rebuilt:-)

Her garden is a feature in our street and the brilliant display of colours is admired by all the walkers in the area. She has gradually been potting her plants to save them to replant in her new garden, and we are helping a little bit by saving her flag irises in our garden. Some of them belonged to her mother so are definitely treasures to be saved.

It was intriguing to see the reaction of passerbys when we were clearing out her precious plants ………. quite a bit of explaining to be done, which was always greeted with a smile of relief 🙂

A bonus us for me as they are starting to flower ………… could be an easy supply of quick blips………… but I do hope it is not too long before the new home is built and Moira is back as our neighbour.
