Each year I put my own special angel on top of the tree

This year we have armed Jack and his dog Zero with a star to hold.

And to protect the tree from a crawling baby, we have also had to anchor it to the wall.

I’m really looking forward to Christmas this year, more than normal for some reason.

And something positive for the day; I made a snap decision to duck out of work early and try and get my new glasses adjusted.

I was fearing the worst as I thought they may need to re-make the lenses.

But some quick adjustments and my vision is fantastic. I think these are easily the best lenses I’ve ever had.
