Staying at Bright this week so we went exploring the area – drove over the hill to Mt Beauty………… and yes, it is a beautiful part of Australia, near to the Victorian skifields.

Some of the roads are closed because of damage from the recent bush fires, but generally it is much greener than we expected, and Bright is a delightful little village …………… definitely the opposite of New York!!!
