The drive back today, S1 found a lovely spot to stop.

The Monkey Forest, full of monkeys in a lovely natural environment.

We started the day in heavy snow in Manchester, it looked grim for summer.

A quick swim,

Monkeys in the sun,

and we were home to a beautiful spring evening.

Such a perfect spring evening, I got quite excited that spring is here. Picture this:

* A spring BBQ, out cooking in a t-shirt for a change.

* New spring lamb rack, some venison sausages and fresh salad.

* Out in the sun,

* followed by a beautiful cloudless spring sunset.

What a magic time of year.
