Friends of ours have taught their kids all sorts of things.

CJ is too busy moving to want to learn to wave goodbye.

But recently, he’s been trying to have a conversation

Ok, so all he manages is a conversation in Bah Bah Bah

But it’s cute none the less.

I am pretty lucky with my job, it’s so very flexible.

My day went like this,

Up at 7. A much needed sleep in for an hour later than normal.

Shower and logged on and working by 7.30.

At 1, I hit standby and took CJ swimming.

A couple of hours later, back online… until the rain stopped.

So 5.30, it was out the door again, this time with CJ strapped to my back.

a 90min walk around the lakes and fields

a stop for a daffodil to take to mum

bash Dad around the head with a daffodil for the rest of the walk.

then home and back online while it’s feeding time at the zoo.

Play for a bit, then put CJ to bed,

and then, a couple of hours to finish up in the office for the day.

It’s a bit of a privilege to have a job so flexible. I can make it work around me, rather than me working around the office.
