Our shortest day and the predicted storms caused havoc throughout the country. Fortunately Christchurch was spared the worst of it although are earthquake damaged drains and roads are not coping with the rain. I hope blippers throughout the country are warm and dry and not suffering too much damage from winds, rain or snow.

We had about 10cm of snow but the rain soon turned it to slush. However 2 degrees here is a bit extreme after 32 degrees 2 days ago.
