1st July, mid winter, and it is a mild norwest day – that’s strange!!

A Monday clean up this morning, although it was a bit more diligent than usual. We have Structural Engineers inspecting our house tomorrow (again!!), and we have visitors staying later in the week so the housework was attacked with more enthusiasm ….. although that might have been caused by the warmth and the sunshine.

Mollyanme walked around the golf course in Hagley Park after lunch. Glorious, but still a lot of water and random ponds about as water table is very high.

Tonight gd and I are off to bridge. Started back at club nights last week after many years absence and had the worst score we have ever had. Tonight will be much better – or least it couldn’t be worse ………… I think!!!
