Having arrived into the hotel late, it was up early to get ferry tickets.

And off we went to Skomer island for the day to spot some puffins.

The island wasn’t push chair friendly, so we loaded up the back packs with CJ and everything we needed for the day and headed off.

The plan was to take it easy, instead we marched around the whole island in the heat.

It was amazing to see the puffins (and pufflings hiding in their little holes).

The birds had no fear of humans at all. They would happily walk right up to you without any care in the world.

A fantastic day out and can highly recommend it next season for anyone considering it.
