Hired some kayaks and went out on the lake late afternoon. Calm and still and so peaceful.

On the left of this pic there are some cormorants and a pelican standing on the bank, but of course they flew away when we got close. Also saw some herons, but no good pics of those either!!

But we did enjoy an hour exploring around a little bit of the lake.
