I am late posting this blip as last night we went to Orana Park for a work Xmas party. It was a brilliant location and Christchurch turned on one of its very rare warm, calm evenings.

Before a delicious buffet dinner we were taken on a twilight tour to see some of the animals being fed. The giraffes were my favourites, and we each feed them a twig which they ‘slurped’ to strip off the leaves, then left us holding the bare stem.

It is a place I can highly recommend to Christchurch companys/groups looking for a new function venue. As well as a very professional event, it has a huge ‘feel good’ factor as we were supporting our local animal park which needs a lot of input from volunteer workers.
