I was ready for a long walk so headed off thinking I knew where I was going and how to get home again.

That was until I took a wrong turn into unfamiliar territory, roads were busy, skies were getting dark, and I became completely disorientated. By chance I spied a police station across the corner and two policemen going to their car.

That made life easy as they would tell me which direction I needed to turn.

But no ………. they decided it would be better if they took me home. Thanks to the Montgomery County State Troopers I can now add a ride in a police car to my list of achievements!!!

They even offered to take my photo to [s]show how short I am[/s] celebrate me getting home safely 🙂
