The words of Paddington bear and the slurping of milk, stuck in time with the clunk of a shutter
I don’t care what people say, nothing beats the magic of a film.
If this was digital, we would have taken 15 shots and used the best one, but it wasn’t. It was instead the 2nd to last shot on a roll of 36 film.
One shot. A single moment. Simply taken as it was.
A father reading Paddington bear to his son.
A family moment. A one off snapshot of our daily lives. Captured perfectly on film.
S1 took it. I don’t think she’s ever taken a photo on manual before. This one only has manual, manual exposures, manual focus.
It’s perfect. The scratches, the grain. The heartwarming moment of a child growing up before our eyes.
Exactly as I want to remember it.
