Today we have exciting news! It was a special moment.

Up on the screen popped a little foot,

then a hand

a nose.

All good news, all growing well. A healthy little heart beat blipping away on the screen.

Few things in life are as touching or as important as this.

I missed out on [url=http://www.blipfoto.com/entry/1571499]CJ’s[/url] 12 week scan, so this one was extra special. We had actually already paid for an early scan for peace of mind after complications last time, so this was less about finding out and more just about enjoying the miracle of life.

One day, I’ll get to hold that little hand and little foot, I’ll get to kiss that little button nose. I can’t wait.

CJ doesn’t know what’s going on yet, but I know he’ll make an amazing big brother.

I already find myself wondering about the things we can do to make him feel involved and engaged. I can see him loving stacking bottles in the steriliser and helping push the buggy.

Our little family is soon to be one step bigger.
