After a Daddy only bedtime last night (while I was visiting a friend in hospital), tonight was Mummy only as S2 was out at a work event.

We went through all the normal routine, however tonight CJ wanted to share everything, including his milk with Puddle. This meant that things took a little longer than normal, but that was ok as it was nice to sit and read him and Puddle their bedtime stories, while watching him lay there smiling at me – something he hasn’t done since he was little (normally he is busy playing with Puddle or being cheeky).
