After a long 2 weeks, we needed a recharge today, so we set out to a country home looking for bluebells.

We were a few weeks too early for them, but that didn’t dampen the day.

S1 packed a picnic and we lunched in the beautiful Scottish spring sun.

We walked through the woodland paths, CJ running around happily. When he got tired he’d climb on his trike to be pushed along for a little bit, then jump off to explore again once he’d recharged.

He really is a little cutie. I know all parents say that about their kids, but he really is.

Days like today are a good reminder of just how lucky we are.
