It was apparently meant to be the quiet day on the trip…

Off to Plockton for the morning and a run around before Lunch.

A beautiful seafood lunch. Fresh seafood, some home smoked out the back of the hotel, some cured and some cooked. Yum yum yum, exactly what I wanted from Scotland.

Off to a couple of little known roads with amazing views (including this one).

Then down to Eilean Donan Castle for a run around. What a beautiful castle in an amazing spot.

Home, past the Coos for CJ to laugh and giggle at. Then home for a BBQ, which failed when the Highland rains came in.

A fun easy day with family – exactly what we wanted from the trip.
