Today we headed off to the zoo with Grandad. We packed a picnic lunch and headed out, with fingers crossed that the rain would hold off.

Once at the zoo, CJ had a great time showing Grandad all his favourite animals – the pandas, the monkeys, the pigs and the cats. Unfortunately we must have arrived at the wrong time as a lot of the animals where sleeping or hiding. But that didn’t stop us having a great time.

CJ’s new favourite were the tigers. He was fascinated by them and kept pointing and giggling as they paced around their enclosure.
