A long night of geeking has paid back results. It was 1.30am before I got to bed but I have a Raspberry Pi working perfectly as a music server and media player.

Given my linux is a little rusty, I thought it might have taken a little longer than it did to get it working perfectly.

I’ve wanted one of these for ages to play with but I never really had an excuse to buy one, but this little project is perfect.

Next step, building some more players which will synchronise around the house… wish me luck.
