We hit the road early this morning to head to the Commonwealth Games rugby 7’s in Glasgow.

CJ was unbelievably excited. Everything was amazing from him, right from the bus trip in through to the running around an [url=https://vimeo.com/101866352]empty stadium[/url] when we arrived.

But the real hits were the Scottish flag S1 brought him and the excitement of the crowd. Every time the crowd cheered he started clapping excitedly. Every time Scotland did something exciting his little flag went wild.

He was so unbelievably cute. His All Blacks top, a Scottish flag and a grin from ear to ear.

All the excitement eventually became too much and he crashed out asleep across S1 and my laps. Snoring away despite the noise and excitement around him. We eventually had to wake him up so he didn’t miss the Kiwis and Scots games.

an amazing day out with a fantastic atmosphere. What a way to experience the games and CJ’s first big event.
