Voting day in the Scottish referendum, and the outcome will have a significant effect on the lives of our children and grandchildren, including little CJ pictured outside his playgroup venue which is the polling booth for s1 & s2 today.

The outcome of the referendum is expected to be very close, and the percentage turnout of voters very high, making this a very interesting time for us to be in Scotland. Some people are very open about their preference, but many are not saying anything. However it has been a major topic in conversation everywhere we have been, and many strangers have been keen to discuss the referendum with us.

N.B. Baby LJ didn’t miss this historic day as he was safely tucked up in s2’s front pack when he went to cast his vote.
