Went to Hampton Court with B&C and enjoyed the insight into life in the times of King Henry VIII and William III. The palace is well maintained and decorated in the style of the day, and once again the signage and interactive displays were excellent.

The kitchens are huge and designed to feed at least 600 people twice a day ……. and they must have been very very hot with many fires blazing to cook the vast amount of meat required.
