We are biking the Otago rail trail in February so I need to do some serious training, hence we have put the wind trainer in a spare bedroom so I can gradually improve my cycling fitness. I do walk a lot on the hills but I think different muscles a required for a bike. If I can get my legs strengthened a bit on this, then I will be able to do lots of biking at Hanmer over the summer ………. and then it will be “Rail Trail here we come” 🙂
