Today was all about food (and walking).

We headed out for a walk into town, stopping to feed the ducks on the way.

Then it was a cafe lunch before popping into 2 butchers and fishmongers for a major stock up:

* 2.6kg Beef brisket

* 3 full rib racks of pork

* 4 whole chickens

* 2 pieces of Lemon sole

* 4 oysters

It was a lot of weight to then cart all the way home on foot,  but by the end of the day I had 20 meals lined up from it all, most vacuum packed and in the freezer, and a pot of chicken carcases boiling down for soup.

I can’t wait for brisket and red wine in the Sous Vide machine.
