The family headed out of the house for a nice walk in the woods, mainly so that I could shoot a roll of film.

It was good fun, enjoying an early spring afternoon.

The camera is a joy to use (although there’s a little more faffing required than I’d like on the metering front, and I’m going to need to sort a better developing/scanning solution).

It’s the first medium format I’ve ever shot and it was a lovely way to spend a day.

CJ even found the snowdrops growing in the trees and was fascinated by them. They are in his favourite book but it’s the first time he’s seen them. I suspect I know what tonight’s bed time story will be.
