I spent tonight tearing down a camera of mine that wasn’t working quite right.

After a lot of poking around and cleaning, I found the issue was relatively simple to solve… except I also found other issues I needed to address.

In my testing, I then managed to fall for a (known) issue where the self timer jams the shutter… so no sooner have I got it all back together and I’ll have to start again tomorrow to remove the shutter and fix that up.

These old cameras are a bit of a love hate relationship!
