A cold day, but a good day, to visit Ferrymead as the ‘scottties’ are missing their train rides.

The first sunday of the month is steam day and the big steam train was running so our little “Thomas” fan was delighted .

For a special treat we also had a ride on “Toby” the steam tram which took us to the seaside.  It was too cold to stay at the beach but CJ was more than happy to explain to GD all the details about the points being changed so that Toby could turn around to take us back to the station.

A great day out with dad and grandad ………and us oldies were well educated in all sorts of train details by our wee 3 year old.
