I’ve got gaps to fill and photos to post, but today is a milestone I’m proud to reach.
This was a trip out to see the local Christmas light display. The boys were beside themselves, such a special night (and fitting to post for a special milestone)
When I set out on this journey 3000 photos ago, I’d have no idea where it would lead. It’s taken me from one end of the earth to the other, meeting and working with some amazing people along the way.
I’ve also learnt a lot on the journey. I’ve no doubt learnt a lot about photography, but more importantly I’ve learned a lot about what’s important in life.
The record we have built up of 8 years in the UK is something amazing.
The record of our boys growing up is irreplaceable.
The record of my amazing life with S1, with all of lifes up and downs, sometimes makes me laugh and sometimes brings a tear to the eye, but without fail it gives a certain positive perspective on life to look back on our adventure together.
Did I ever expect to see 3000 photos, definitely not when I started, and certainly not when Blipfoto went under. But I’ll take this milestone with a sense of pride and achievement.
Thanks all. Thanks S1, and if you ever read this, thanks again Joe.
