Years ago my uncle created a family tree for my grandfathers family.  It was all handwritten or typed so was a big pile of paper.  A few weeks ago I volunteered to sort through it and put it all on to spreadsheet.  Over the past few days I created a template and added as much info as I could find for the generations from our grandparents to our grandchildren.
Now I have to track down some cousins to update the missing info – of which there is quite a bit.
