A full day visiting Skomer Island to see these very cute puffins. Masses of them wander amongst us without any fear of humans, even though there were a lot of chicks.  They are so comical with their inquisitive looks, their waddly little dances, and their awkward take offs and landings.

Fortunately the weather was kind (cloudy but  no wind so calm seas) as it took us about 3hrs to walk around the island.  So many different birds to see, nesting in holes in the ground or on the side of very steep cliffs, or on the fly searching for food.
