We headed out to Great Grandma Baa’s today to take S1 and her down to the grave site to visit their Mum/Daughter.

It is a lovely peaceful spot with the horses munching grass in the field next door.

I can’t believe how much has changed in such a short space of time, nor can I understand how it can feel like so long ago, yet also like only yesterday, that we had to say our goodbyes.

Afterwards the boys and I then went exploring on Grandma Baa’s farm while the two ladies chatted for a while.

I love this photo of the two of them. So close and so full of smiles. It was heartwarming to see the positive memories flooding to the surface on this day.
