We had to remove quite a few very large trees from our Hanmer bach, and we now have a lot more light and sun with no trees close against the house.

However we have a major replanting job ahead but have made a start by clearing all the rubbish away and measuring the area we need to plant.  Now back to Christchurch to buy some plants.
