Our local Community Cottage held a Matariki Celebration tonight with crafts and face painting for the kids, plus sausage sizzles and coffee – all for free.  This community is amazing and we are so lucky to live here.

The boys loved making their lanterns from a paper cup and led candle, then CJ was delighted to meet his best friend from school 🙂

Then once we were home CJ showed us his Matariki dance which he learned at school
