I was recently asked what gets me out of the bed in the morning. A hefty question for a Friday afternoon, but one with a crystal clear answer. It’s making a positive difference to people’s lives.

It’s no secret that I’m a big geek. I started my career at Vodafone—circa 2002—back when mobile phones were really revolutionising everyday life. Fast forward nearly two decades and I’m still a big geek (ask me about my self-coded Smart Home), and leading a team that impacts millions of lives around the world, every day.

Our purpose of “keeping people active” hits very close to home after losing my mother-in-law to a diabetic foot infection. Foot Science International’s evidence-based research and Formthotics products actively work to change the stats. I’m looking forward to sharing a little more on how we do that as a team over the coming months. Watch this space.
