We are looking for a painting of the coast at Sumner or Akaroa – for friends in Guernsey – so went to Sumner to see what we could find ………. found a couple of paintings we would like, but they didn’t fit our brief today. Oh dear, will have to keep looking ……….. how hard can that be 🙂

Came home via Lyttelton and Governors Bay where I saw these bright cheery daffodils growing profusely amongst the grasses at the edge of the road. It was another dull day, and much colder that yesterday, so these were a welcome splash of sunshine.
