DM&B from Guernsey arrived yesterday and today we are off to Wanaka for a weeks holiday. They are fun company so will be a fantastic week We plan to do lots of biking, walking, exploring, and fishing with Xtine’s beautiful [url=http://www.blipfoto.com/view.php?id=500648&month=3&year=2010]flies[/url] …………. and will probably find time to sample a few local wines as well!!

Stopped at the Salmon Farm on the way down and bought some delicious local salmon – just in case our fishing is not a success.

This is a mould of a Chinook salmon caught in Canada – the ones in our salmon farms are not quite this big!!

As this is a backblip I know this was as close as we got to catching a fish – sorry Xtine, but we did have fun trying. And we did all the other things we had planned plus many more and had a wonderful holiday in this uniquely beautiful area of NZ
