When I took a one month break to help my neck recover I had no idea of the upheaval and devastation that was about to hit our beautiful city.

We were tossed, twisted and turned then spun about and hung out to dry – just like going through a laundry cycle. One month on we are gradually getting back to normal – whatever that may be – but the city will take a long long time to recover.

However, after watching the Japan tsunami we realise that we are the lucky ones. My heart goes out to all those in the devasted areas of Japan
