After a sleepless night with rain, hail, gales and tremors we headed to Hanmer Springs today. Arrived much later than intended, but were rewarded with a stunning sunset over the Waiau river. All the snow had cleared from the village, but it is very cold with all the snow on the mountains …………… however a wee dram and then a soak in the thermal pools soon fixed that.

We are here for a few days with [url=http://www.blipfoto.com/s2]s2[/url] & s1 – looking forward to relaxing, swimming, biking, walking, golfing and a bit of retail therapy and pampering at the Spa 🙂
