I can remember reading American stories to our boys and always being intrigued by the fire hydrants in USA. I used to wonder if they were real or just in the illustrator’s imagination ………. but here we are in Boston and there they are!!

This one is outside the Mary Eddy Baker Church and the [url=http://www.marybakereddylibrary.org/exhibits/mapparium]mapparium[/url] which is a very intriguing exhibition – a three storey glass globe spanned by a 30ft glass bridge to take visitors to the centre of the world.
