Strange “‘goings-on” in the sky tonight.

While we were soaking in the thermal pools we noticed one huge round white cloud, the only cloud in the sky, and it looked like an enormous full moon in the daytime sky – odd!

By the time we arrived home the sun had set and our cloud had turned to this – intriguing!!

It became a brighter and brighter red, until suddenly it went black and started to spread higher in the sky – strange!

Supposed to turn cold and wet tomorrow, but they say red sky at night is shepherds delight, and apart from our friendly cloud it is as clear as clear can be …… certainly doesn’t look like bad weather ahead………….but time will tell.

Thinking of everyone in Christchurch as the quakes have been very busy the past 24 hrs, and have moved back close to the area of the original September 2010 quake ………….. that is strange as well :-0
