Very brrr today as there was a good frost and a coat of fresh snow on the mountains. We had to scoot back to Wanaka to pack and then head for home earlier than we had planned. This was our last sight of the lake as we drove out of town mid afternoon.

We received sad news this morning – not unexpected, but always sad when it finally comes …… gd’s older brother died in Perth this morning, but fortunately we spent a very happy time with him just 3 weeks ago.
