Today I started a 3 day course on lighting.

Day one is natural light and camera flash, using a combination of both and/or reflectors. Interesting exercise and certainly had us all thinking and learning how to get the results we want in camera instead of by processing.

This is our gorgeous model …. as well as bowls of tomatoes,wine glasses and bottles, etc. Not very exciting subjects but the subject is irrelevant as it is the techniques we are concerned with.

Tomorrow is off camera flash which is what I am most interested in.
