Our beautiful model again taken with an off camera flash diffused with an umbrella.

I was surprised at how easy it is to take a flash shot without overexposing. I know we are supposed to diffuse the light, but was never been exactly sure how go about it. There are a couple of bright spots on her nose and chin, but she is rather plastic and shiny and reflective!!

Studio lights tomorrow so not sure how relevant that will be for me, but picking up lots of tips and definitely learning about the settings on my camera and speedlight – much easier than trying to understand the camera manual!!
