Last day of my photography lighting course with David Wethey who is an excellent tutor – very experienced, knowledgeable and willing to share that in an easy to understand manner.
It was a challenging course as we were changing settings in our cameras and our speedlights to meet the demands of some difficult lighting situations. David was happy to spend time explaining the settings in the cameras which of course were all different with different menus and options. An excellent course to answer all the ‘what, why, how’ questions I have had about lighting.
Today we shot the model under studio lights …….. I have posted this weeks images as record shots so I can look back and see the difference under the various lighting situations.
It has been a challenging week in other ways as we are caught up in the xtra/yahoo shambles as our ability to send/receive emails varies from hour to hour. After another 2 hours or more on the phone tonight I now am off to bed and will call them again tomorrow. Slowly making progress but we have now been passed to ‘level 2’ – not sure what that means but hope I get to talk to a more experienced techy geek!! It is so frustrating – but must be a nightmare for the call centre staff!!
