What a welcome sight to greet us this morning ………. and the mountains look glorious covered with snow right down to the plains. Mt Hutt has 3 metres of snow- will be good for skiers but is causing some problems with access and grooming.

Mollyanme went walking this afternoon along the Heathcote River which has some serious flooding. The river is very high, very fast, very brown and is over the road in many places and flowing through properties. Not sure if any houses are flooded but there are definitely some very wet sections.

However fine days are predicted for the rest of the week so looking forward to sunshine and slightly warmer days.
