Lunch today at Marble Point Winery – a must do when in Hanmer Springs, or as day out from Christchurch.

The setting is superb with a wonderful view, the restaurant relaxed and peaceful, the staff friendly and welcoming, the menu varied and delicious, and the desserts are decadent.

We didn’t need anything after our generously portioned mains, but couldn’t resist the long list of tempting treats.

And their wines are excellent – Savignon Blanc with our mains, and Pinot Noir with the cheese. A very small vineyard which has won many awards – don’t miss a lunch treat here when in the area 🙂
