Why is it when the week is going smoothly as soon as Friday arrives it turns to chaos??

A busy day in the office but a lot achieved so that is good ………. but that means a late blip. Our day was forecast to be very hot, but it was foggy this morning and then an easterly wind. However by early evening it was mild and calm and the city lights were twinkling.

Tomorrow is the three year anniversary of our big quake so it is good to look over a peaceful city, and to be able to see a couple of tall buildings in the city centre (top LH of photo), although there is a huge black area where homes used to be but now red zoned and many houses demolished (top RH of photo)

I guess it was a peaceful evening three years ago when we had no inkling of what was to come to change our lives forever.
