Escaped from the city today for a few days in the country so a macro of some of the local weeds we spied on our walk.

Reminds me of icecream [url=http://www.blipfoto.com/entry/4021411]cones[/url] with a yellow wafer sticking into them …….. but I think it is flowers from a yarrow plant:-)

Third anniversary of our big quake and a lot of memorial services were held throughout the city. A few positive things happening around the city so hope this year there is a lot of progress …………. some good news on our house repair would be really good, but not looking as though that will happen for a while yet.
